BUMP GOES HOLLYWOOD!
We were chosen to perform in the post Hurricane Katrina thriller, “Little Murder.” Not only did we perform in two scenes, we also have two songs featured in the movie. Both “Appollonia” and “Last Chance” will appear during the movie.
It’s a big honor to appear in the movie with Terrence Howard, Josh Lucas, Lake Bell, and Deborah Ann Woll. Our day on the set was long, nearly 13 hours. The old saying is definitely true regarding movie sets, “hurry up….and wait,” and that is pretty much what we did until it was our time to shoot. The movie takes place in New Orleans and we were hit with a 90 plus degree day here in Detroit. The club, the Old Miami where our scenes were being shot without air conditioning, definitely had that hot and sticky New Orleans feel.
An interesting side note about the day, and probably one of the biggest highlights of the entire experience was having Terrence Howard, Oscar Nominated Actor from the likes of “Crash,” “Hustle & Flow,” and “Iron Man,” sit in with us for an impromptu jam session. What started out with him just asking to play Sterr’s guitar turned into us skipping break for dinner and co-writing a song together that he had started to write for one of his projects. There will be more on this later!

BUMP DOES BECK - 10.24.09
We’re going to have a ton of special guests out for this special night where we will do the music of Beck. BUMP does Beck will feature at least one song off of every Beck release. We’re real excited to host this show at the Majestic Theatre complex in their newest room, the cozy Majestic Cafe. Tickets are only $7.00 and all ages are welcome. Also, those with a Get Up Kids ticket from the Majestic Theater that night get in for free.

Do you want to help us promote shows in your area? The Bump Street Team is one of the most important facets of the band. They are the strength of Bump!
The street team is responsible for promoting our shows and for promoting the band. We’ll send you posters and CD’s each time we come through town for you to hang around town and give to your friends. For all you “socially networked” folks, our street team helps add friends and potential new fans to our Facebook events and spreads the word through the net that we’re coming to town.
