Installment #3 of “Know Your Bump Set List”

This version of “Sonny Kind” was recorded live on July 17, 2004 at Fifth Avenue in Royal Oak, MI.  It showcases our good friend Greg “Quaff” Williams on saxophone.  Quaff was playing with our friends The Leonard Brothers at the time and recorded saxophone on our EP “Heart of Cadillac Square.”  We always look forward to partying with Quaff while down in Austin, TX.

Remember, don’t forget to vote for which songs you want us to play on 1.7!

Installment #2 of “Know Your Bump Set List”

“Restless, Restless” is a song that was written for a contest on the Howard Stern Show.  Vinnie Favale, VP of CBS Late Night, wrote the original version of the song and Howard always joked how it was easily the worst song he ever heard.  A contest came out of those discussions to see who could actually make Vinne’s song into a legitimate and quality song.  Thousands of submissions later our version of “Restless, Restless” was played on the air and a friendship with Vinnie developed.
